Akhnif shepherd's cape, Morocco, High Atlas, Aït Ouaouzguite, 20th century Hemispherical cape with hood, in black wool woven and embroidered with geometric motifs in orange, green, eggplant and white colored wool threads, around an oblong yoke with a red background adorned with a prophylactic motif. Fringe of wool strands outlines the cape and trims the tip of the hood. Sewn-in jeans pocket with zipper. 133 x 230 cm Small holes, some worn fringe.
