Imperial Guard model infantry saber. Leather-covered handle with copper filigree. Brass mounting, single-branch guard with Versailles markings. Curved blade with flat back, hollow sides and gutter, regraved "Mfture de Klingenthal Couleaux Fes". Open leather belt with two brass fittings. Length: 81.5 cm Manufactured later in the 20th century.
