U.S. Navy officer's saber. White plated stingray-covered handle. Gilt brass frame with openwork hilt and U.S.N. banner, eagle cap. Straight blade engraved two-thirds of the way up with foliate scrolls, naval anchor and American coat of arms. Signed "Military & Naval Supply Co New-York" on the heel. Leather whip with three gilded brass fittings decorated with ropes, marine creature stinger. Length: 93 cm A.B.E. 20th century manufacture. An officer's belt in canvas and black morocco. Gold buckles.
