Paris : Gabriel Quinet, 1663. - In-12, dark blue half-maroquin à la Bradel and corners, smooth spine, untrimmed (modern binding).
Second edition of this comedy-ballet by Molière, first performed on August 17, 1661 in the park of the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, on the occasion of a party given by Fouquet for Louis XIV. It was shared between Guillaume de Luyne, Charles de Sercy, Jean Guignard fils and Gabriel Quinet. The original had appeared the previous year.
A good copy in modern binding.
Ink stain on penultimate leaf.
