[BONNARD (Pierre)] - TERRASSE (Claude) - COURTELINE (Georges - Lot 40

[BONNARD (Pierre)] - TERRASSE (Claude) - COURTELINE (Georges). Lieds de Montmartre. Panthéon-Courcelles. Paris : Paul Dupont, [circa 1899]. -In-8, paperback. First edition of Claude Terrasse's musical score of Georges Courteline's musical fantasy. This scene "celebrates the glorious slowness of the omnibus that runs from the Pantheon to Courcelles"; it was first performed at the Théâtre du Grand Guignol on November 2, 1899. The last two pages contain "Notes pour le metteur en scène" ("Notes for the director"). This edition is sought-after because of its cover, which is illustrated with a lithograph by Pierre BONNARD (1867-1947), repeated on the title. A very well preserved copy, largely uncut.
