CÉLINE (Louis-Ferdinand). Féerie pour une autre fois *. Paris : Gallimard, [1952]. -In-16, paperback. Dauphin & Fouché, 52A9. First edition of the first part of this novel by Céline. The sequel was published in 1954 under the title "Normance". This is the author's first text published by Gallimard. Press copy, enriched with this long, handsome autograph letter signed by the author: "A Monsieur // Albert // Cornu // très sincère hommage // et auquel je serai bien // reconnaissant pour tout // ce qu'il pourra faire // pour // vieil ami // Perrot // LF Céline." This is undoubtedly Albert Cornu, born in 1888 and died in 1968, writer, honorary prefect and director of the cabinet of the Minister of Public Instruction and Fine Arts, author of the novel "Homme, cœur insatiable" published in 1936. In this dedication, Céline refers to his friend, businessman Jean Perrot, his neighbor on rue Girardon, where he lived from 1941 to 1944. Copy a little warped. Cover soiled.
