Signed mustard cloth publisher's boards, title stamped in black and silver on first board, smooth spine. First and only year published of this luxurious advertising directory, entirely mounted on mitered boards. It includes a frontispiece portrait of Paul Poiret by the Lipnitzki studio, protected by a captioned serpente, 2 leaves of text and 116 plates of advertisements divided into six thematic sections, each beginning with a descriptive leaflet: Monsieur & madame (53 plates) - La Maison (21 plates). - The Table (8 plates). - Fantasy (2 plates). - The City (18 plates). - Travel & sports (14 plates). The majority of these advertisements, reproduced in black and color, are illustrated with compositions by artists in vogue at the time, such as Pierre Fau, Edy-Legrand, Y. B. Dyl, Lucien Boucher, Charles Martin, Libis, Foujita, Sem, Cocteau, and others. A very well preserved copy, despite light wetness at the bottom of the two white endpapers, the serpente, the portrait and the last plate.
