Fine edition of "Daphnis et Chloé" in Amyot's translation, illustrated with 85 full-page and in-text color compositions by Louis TOUCHAGUES (1883-1974). One of 700 copies on Lana pur chiffon vellum, enriched with two fine original drawings by the artist, accompanied by this autograph dedication: "Pour Mademoiselle Alix, chère et grande Artiste, avec ma très fidèle admiration et... mon affectueuse Amitié. Touchagues" A very well preserved copy. Cover slightly browned. Without folders and slipcase.
