"By examining the registers of the Kehl printing house of which M. de la Hogue was the steward on my behalf, I find you in debt for the sum of six hundred and twenty six livres quatorze sols. I am sending you your current account, and I would ask you to acknowledge this by remitting to me the sum you owe me". The account in question appears on pages 2 and 3 of the letter and concerns works by Jean-Jacques Rousseau.
