If the soul were like the stomach, this precaution would perhaps not be to be despised since it has been starving for so long". She assures him that she can handle large doses of happiness and love. "Jour toto, jour mon cher petit o papa est bien i, mais il devrait bien m'emporter Cocotte [sa perruche]" whose cries she can no longer bear; "tu me rendrais donc un véritable service de l'emporter le plus tôt possible. [...] Jour toto, jour mon cher petit o je vous dis que je vous aime je n'ai, pas autre chose dans mon bissac"...
