Commander's cross.
Gold cross with four double white enameled branches. Four crowns are interspersed, alternating between royal and Holy Roman types. Center enameled in two parts, obverse adorned with the reported figure of the order's founder and the legend on a blue background "suscipere et finire". Reverse with the monogram of George V of Hanover and the legend "den xv december mdccclxv" Double hanger ring. Large tie, with attachments.
