Giulio Bonasone (1498-1576) Two satyrs accompanying Silenus to King Midas. Before 1576. Engraved after Perino del Vaga. 225x145mm. Bartsch 89. Very fine proof on watermarked laid paper (fleur-de-lys in a circle), trimmed on the plate cut. Small number "12" in pen and sepia ink at the head in the copper margin. Remains of glue in the corners on verso, oxidized on recto.
