Abraham Bosse (1602 or 1604-1676) The Sculptor's Workshop. 1642. Etching and burin. 315x217mm. Duplessis 1386; Lothe 253. Fine proof on thin laid paper, trimmed to the square line and incomplete of the tablet. Vertical median fold. Small wormhole in the right-hand carving. Long, thin oblique fold between it and the sculptor. Small reddish stains (splashes) on lower left. Traces of glue and light soiling on verso. Short tear restored at foot.
