L.A.S., Monday, June 13, to Pierre-Marie Broussonnet; 1 page, in-4 format, with an address bearing a Versailles postmark and a red wax seal featuring a figure. He regrets that the walk he was to take with Broussonnet and Lamarck has been postponed by a week: “I console myself with the hope that we will still find all our plants at St. Leger. Perhaps by then I will have some new specimens to show you, and perhaps I will have received some seeds from Persia”…
