Loose sheets, in the publisher’s folder and slipcase. A very fine edition, illustrated by the painter André MASSON (1896–1987), featuring ten color etchings and aquatints—including one identical image on both covers and nine full-page illustrations—as well as nine aquatints, one on the title page and eight on the section titles. Strictly limited edition of 116 copies printed on Auvergne paper from the Moulin Richard de Bas, signed by Jean Paulhan, André Masson, and the president of the company in the colophon. This copy, numbered 65, was specially printed for Fédia Julia. The copy is in very good condition. There is slight transfer from a few engravings.
