Giacomo PUCCINI (1858-1924). L.A.S., London [June 8, 1920], to his friend Renzo Valcarenghi (director of Ricordi Editions); 2 pages small in-4 with Savoy Hotel letterhead; in Italian. He arrived in London two days ago and is trying to move fast: today rehearsals from 11am to 1am, and from 3am to 5am - the piano scenes. He is on the bill three times a week. "In Manon, tenor Burke is excellent. The fourth act is like this and that "... The reviews have probably been sent to Carlo Clausetti or will be soon. He ends by promising more news from rehearsals...
